A Meeting of The House...

You know what time it is. That's right it's a Tête-à-Tête Tuesday! And welcome back because I, Tyrone, am taking ovah, honey! Most of you have read about the team at BeJeweled I and II. But today, I'm giving you a glimpse of each of team member, and just a little background story...my take anyway, because that's all that matters. We'll chit chat about those other folks that wreck the lives of the team another time.

But today it's about our fabulous and not-so-fabulous team members.

Ms. Olivia, more affectionately known as, Ms. O. is the queen of the house. She's the owner of The House of BeJeweled. And she's the most beautiful soul I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. You mess with Ms. O, and this fierce diva (moi) won't be pulling out a can of whip ass. No, I'm gonna leave somebody stankin!

Anyhoo, Ms. O is a sweetheart and she's got vision. But despite all the angels that follow her and keep her lifted up, you know that devil just hanging around waiting for her to dash her foot against a stone. Aaaha! You thought I didn't know nothing 'bout the Bible. I done told y'all, don't be so quick to judge people.

But yes, Ms. O, is the glue that keeps all of us together. She works to inspire us to fulfill our dreams and get the healing we need. Honey, Ms. O needs a little healing of her own.

Angel is the epitome of inner beauty and outer beauty. She has a spirit much like Ms. Olivia's but she's still got a lot of growing to do. She's got love for people like Olivia, but she hasn't figured out how to love herself yet. So, that makes her an easy doormat for people to walk on.

But you know what they say about those easygoing people...you just don't know what's gonna happen to make her snap. And when she does...let's just say I don't wanna be around. Them quiet types, crazy as hell.

Kianna! She's the only one at BeJeweled downtown who can come close to the styling diva that I am. She has a fierce sense of fashion and she's wicked with those styling hands. But, she's no joke when it comes to men. Honey, she goes through 'em like a grieving widow goes through tissues. And if you want yours, I suggest you don't let her come around him.

That heffa is never above scandal either! You hear me? When it comes to drama she's the ruling queen and nobody better touch that crown. But, with enemies like her, who needs the devil! Hell, he's scared of Kianna.

Wesley! Whew Lawd! That is one fine, cool, sexy piece of chocolate! And he knows it, too. Yeah, he tries to play this humble role, but he always gets my blood rushing. Nikki and Rory can't figure out what to do with him, but I can think of a thing or two.

Wes is our resident masseuse who's also enrolled in school full-time in a physical therapy program. Ms. O got him running between downtown and Buckhead. But he can run me any day! He's definitely going to heat up the pages with what he brings to the table. In more ways than one, if you know what I mean. 

Nikki, is a hot little Puerto-Rican/African-American number. She's definitely got a temper on her, that one. Too bad she can't do nothing that with that crazy husband of hers. Mmm-hmm, rumor is he can't keep his hands to himself. But you ain't heard it from me. Look at her neck when she wears her hair up. That's all I'm saying.

Anyway, she's a nail tech at BeJeweled downtown. And there's trouble brewing all around her and that means problems for a few people at the salon. Her secret's so explosive it threatens to blow the roof off the salon. Caliente! That's what she claims about herself, but honey, you ain't seen caliente! Wait until you read books 2 and 3, BeJeweled: What A Tangled Web We Weave and BeJeweled: Remix, coming soon.

Rory is another nail tech at BeJeweled downtown, and she's nothing to play with either. Ms. Fierce brings that New York attitude in abundance with a bit of conceit and bossiness on top. She keeps the chicks on the nail side in check. But, her friendship with Nikki is in jeopardy. I don't know how they're gonna work through their drama.

Meet our Dynamic Duo, Belinda and Darla, also known as B.A.D. They're the ladies everyone love to hate at BeJeweled downtown. But, I don't know why, they just do what everybody else in the salons do...gossip.

They are always in the know and when they aren't...they just make it up. I love 'em. These heffas is hilarious! And honey they can party, too. I ought to know...I've taken 'em out a time or two with me and they party with some of the best queens. But they have to grow on some people. But their hair techniques are on point and Darla is a weave queen if you need to add a few inches.

Skai is our beautiful little Sweden nail tech at BeJeweled II in Buckhead. She's only hanging around until she gets her degree in art. Honey, I'd love to take her on the town and open her up to life a bit. She's a hot little number, but a little reserved and skittish if you ask me. I think the truth of the matter is, if she gets a little drink in her, she might show us a thing, or two.

This chocolate beauty is Georgette. She works at the Buckhead location, as a nail tech working to become a stylist. She's becoming buddy-buddy with Angel, but I'm not so sure I trust her. There's a lot I don't know about her yet, and she's not too keen on people being in her business. I don't know...something's not right. But we'll see.

Brenda is a stylist and the resident "mother" of BeJeweled Buckhead. She's always protecting the staff in Ms. O's absence. Don't cross her children (the entire Buckhead team), and you won't draw back a nub. She don't ruffle my feathers, and I don't ruffle hers. That's all to be said about her.

Antoinette "Toni" has that B.A.D. bug. She loves to gossip, but unlike our Dynamic Duo, she doesn't make up stuff to keep herself entertained. She's another stylist at BeJeweled Buckhead. She's fierce with the hair and the makeup and her clients love her.

But as beautiful as girlfriend is, for some reason she has trouble finding a man. The stories she has to tell about the men that want her are the stories nightmares are made of. Will she ever find love? Or will she be forever single? I'm still trying to get to know this chick a little better. I hope she's not another Kianna. Lord knows there isn't enough room for two of them at BeJeweled.

And here I am! Mr. Fabulosity! Your Diva! Tyrone. Baby, I'm bringing magic into the salon every day! With my wit, my fashion sense, these fabulous styling hands, and my fine body! They're not ready for me.

Alright ladies, I have to make that money. I'll be bringing more dirt on the Divas and Duds of BeJeweled. So hang in there until next week. But in the meantime, you know what it is.
