It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. -Aristotle Onassis This past week I found myself stressing about situations I didn't have an answer for. I kept telling myself that I wasn't stressed out. But when I went to sleep on Thursday night I had a headache and was nauseous, because I was subconsciously stressed out. On Friday, rather than stressing I decided to turn my worries into praise. I reflected on all the blessings God has brought into my life. The more I praised Him, and focused on the blessings the better I felt. I prayed and gave the situations over to God. I let Him know that I had no clue how my immediate concerns would be resolved, but He knew what I needed and I trusted Him to provide. On Saturday, I was no longer focused on my problems or even the resolution. Out of the blue, I received a very unexpected resolution to my situation. I could only thank Him for the rest of the day, and laugh in gratitude about His faithfulness. I have learned through the years that He doesn't always answer our prayers in the way we expect. Sometimes, the answers and blessings come in the most unexpected ways. We simply have to set our mind on pushing out the dark, negative thoughts, and focus on the light. It is true that we attract what we focus on. When our thoughts are dark and negative that is what comes our way. When our thoughts are filled with light, and focused on the positive, we attract positive. Choose today to fill your mind with positive thoughts and be that light in a darkened room. You never know who else you may touch or encourage throughout the week. Be Blessed! Living Life Beautifully Inspired!
