Yesterday, I received an inspirational message at church that really had me thinking deeply about circumstances I'm currently in and situations I've gone through. Sometimes, it becomes difficult to remain positive and speak words of affirmation in the face of adversity. However, Bishop Dr. Richard Leaphart, pointed out we must change our mindset if we expect to receive a turnaround. We have to have an attitude of winning, ready to do the work, and understand that the work will never end. Those pointers that he gave to us while basic in comprehension, can be impactful if implemented and adhered to. Speak life into your situations. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Simply said, whatever you speak is what you will receive. So, what you put out there will be what you get back. Learn to speak positive even in the most dire situations, and train your mind to think that way. So what if you think you've always spoken positive, but you're not getting it back. Perhaps, you need to speak AND believe, or speak, believe, AND put the work in. When you find yourself facing a trial or a difficult situation, rather than becoming down or hopeless not understanding how you're going to make it through, think about how you can change your thought process or attitude towards the situation. Ask yourself what can you do differently to get the best out the situation. After you have given all you can, and you have prayed, then start changing how you think about the situation. Believe it will work out. Speak that it will work out. Receive that it will work out. Then step back and watch it work out. Video Inspiration... About Chelle Ramsey...
