It's ladies night and the girls have gathered to talk a little trash. Take an inside peek at Is The Grass Really Greener? “He did what?” Courtney shrieked. “Girl I’m not lying, I was stuck!” “Okay, but how did Moms react?” Davina inquired. They had gathered for their first Friday Night Feast since the holidays. They had all been so busy at work they had allowed three months to pass without meeting. They were at Davina’s house. Ronnie had taken the kids out for the night so she and the ladies could have the house to themselves. They were having international night, where each lady brought one to two dishes from another country. “And he was so sauced up by then he started crying, asking God to forgive him for all his sins. Girl I was hollering. Of course Chloe wasn’t having any of it. She got mad because I was laughing and said that I better ask Him to forgive me. I started explaining that I didn’t do anything to ask forgiveness for and the next thing you know Julio…” “I thought his name was Javier, Christi?” Rayne asked. “Javier, Julio, Juan…you know who I’m talking about,” Christina exclaimed. “You are a darn fool!” Davina said, rolling onto her side and laughing at her friend. “Well anyway, Javier started speaking all fast in Spanish trying to calm Chloe down and Marla and Bernard was sitting back shaking their heads taking the whole side show in, because Marla had given up on trying to hide the show from her kids. Their little nosy, bad behinds had come into the dining room and was praying with Aunt June and the six-year-old, Mikayla? Well she broke out with the Holy Ghost and started shouting,” Christina shared. “Mmm mmm mmm,” Courtney said shaking her head. “But anyway after I cleared everyone out I went upstairs to check on my mom and I could hear her crying through the door. I knocked but when she wouldn’t answer I left her alone,” Christina stated. What she left out was the fact that she had sat on the stairs for a while. Christina could hear her mother having a conversation with her husband; Christina’s Daddy had passed away several years ago, but there were pauses in her conversation as though she was listening to what he had to say. “Well at least you all aren’t hiding away anymore and the truth is out that Andrew is gay. So now what? Where do you go from here?” Courtney asked candidly as she began sobering up from their playful conversation surrounding Christina’s family drama. “I don’t know. Chloe’s mad at me…I think she was embarrassed because she had brought her boyfriend around and family drama reared its ugly head. Mama and Andrew aren’t speaking to each other…no surprise there. I called him and he had the audacity to say Mama was rude to his guest and didn’t make him feel welcome. Hell, he wasn’t welcome. And I told him so; I also told him that he was wrong for not telling Mama in advance and springing that on her like that. He started talking about how Mama made Javier feel welcome and he was a stranger, too. No matter what I said to that boy he wasn’t getting it through his head. He said he half-expected Uncle Snookie to act an ass. But I could tell he was hurt by the names he called him and Matt. He wouldn’t let on, but I know my brother. Hell I was hurt by the names he was calling them, but I ain’t crazy enough to get on his bad side.” “Girl, that is too much for me. I will keep you and your family in my prayers because I hate to see family not speaking, especially a mother and her child. I can’t imagine me, Bryant and Brody going through something like that. I pray we never will,” Rayne shared. “Speaking of the boys, how are things with you and Thierry, Bryant, and Brody going? Last I heard it was heating up and serious between the two of you,” Davina remarked. “Mhmmm…sister girl got her some nooky and she can’t stay away from that man. He laid that pipe up in her real good,” Christina joked, making hand gestures back and forth causing the other women to crack up laughing.
